Victoria Falls is the largest water fall in the world with the width of 1,708 meter, the local indigenous name of the fall is called "Mosi-oa-Tunya" which mean 'the smoke that thunders". The name Victoria Fall was named by Dr Livingstone after the British kingdom at the time of Queen Victoria. It is located at the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. Now it is the one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the world which brings lots of tourist attraction in Zambai and Africa as well,
It is also provide habitat for lots of unique species of plants and animals. Its amazing experience visiting here and see this water falling with high pressure that the spray sent up by the plunging water rises so high up which can be seen form 45 kilometers away on Zambezi River, and also there is a very high population of crocodiles on the river which can be easily seen hence its not advisable to swim here.
The best time to visit the Victoria Falls is from February to May after the region`s summer rain where you will be able to see the World largest sheet of falling water flowing at it`s greatest volume and worse time to visit is from October to November where by water level is low and the weather is very hot. It`s advisable to consider this season when your visit here in order to get a good view of Victoria Falls.
