Ostrich is the largest bird living on earth, in local language is called "Mbuni". Ngorongoro Crater is the world largest intact volcano caldera which located in northern of Tanzania. It has the best wildlife view in Africa, you can see all the big five game animals here such as Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard as well as other animals in large numbers. Some people call The crater as a 8th National Wonder of the World.
Ostrich is the largest bird in the world which can grow up to 9 feet tall and can weight up to 140 kilogram. Here you can easily see the tallest bird in the world in Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania. They eat both vegetables and meat such as root, seed, leaves, snakes and lizard. They lay eggs which are very big 15 centimeter in diameter with 1.2 kilogram. One of the characteristics of bird is to fly but Ostrich cant fly because their flat breastbones lack the keel portion that anchors the strong pectoral muscles which required for flight and their small wings cant lift their heavy body from the ground. It is excited experience to see this big bird in the park.
